What is the best tournament to visit?
Everyone here has a favorite; some enjoy the sunshine and relaxed vibe of Australia, others prefer the tradition and atmosphere of Wimbledon, and one of us firmly believes the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters is the most pleasant tennis experience around. The truth is that we’re all winners.
Why is Wimbledon so expensive?
At Wimbledon we are only able to work with Debenture seats, which are some of the best seats in the house and the only seating category that can be bought and sold on the open market. As such, they’re simply one of the most expensive tickets in the sporting world. Trust us, you get what you pay for and Wimbledon offers a truly special tennis experience.
What if it rains?
Well, luckily three of the four major tournaments have roofs so if you have a ticket to Rod Laver Arena (or Margaret Court), to Centre Court (or, starting in 2018, No.1 Court) or Arthur Ashe, you’ll have to wait a few minutes while they close the roof. At other tournaments, unfortunately, there are no ticket refunds.
I keep hearing about your Wimbledon Hospitality House; what is it?
Our Hospitality House at Wimbledon is a private home steps from the All-England Club gates where we host our guests throughout the fortnight. It’s one of our favorite places of the year and you can learn more about it here: Wimbledon Hospitality House.

What is the chance of meeting Roger Federer?
The chances of sitting down for a drink with him are slim, but we have Front Row seats behind the player chairs at the Australian Open and we’ve had multiple guests receive Federer’s wrist-bands as he ‘s thrown them into the crowd after a win.
I’m a beginner tennis player but my wife played in Division 1 tennis in college, can we both come to the tennis playing opportunity?
Of course. We always have a mixed group of players and our GSTT and Topnotch Tennis Tours pros are great at finding good pairings so that everyone has a good time. If your wife wants to beat up on one of our pros, great, that’s why we’re here.
Will you provide racquets?
You’re welcome to bring your own racquet, but we’ll have some available if you’d prefer not to travel with them.
What is Topnotch Tennis Tours?
Grand Slam Tennis Tours travels to the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open. Topnotch Tennis Tours is our division that travels to other elite, non-grand slam tournaments around the world, which include: BNP Paribas Open in Palm Springs, Miami Open, Monte Carlo Rolex Masters, Mutua Madrid Open, Italian Open, Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati and Davis Cup events.
What time is Serena playing at the US Open next year?
Great question and one we receive often. The draw is only released a few days before the tournament and the Schedule of Play is published the evening before. So, if there’s a specific player you’d like to see we can usually predict which tickets you’ll need to see him or her, but we cannot know the exact time and court until the day before the match.
Is airfare included?
Airfare is not included in the package pricing, but if you’d like us to help you with your flights we’d be glad to do so.
What is a Single Supplement?
A single supplement is an extra charge that reserves hotel rooms for guests traveling independently.
Do you offer any discounts?
We appreciate the loyalty of our return customers and we’re pleased to offer a 5% Return Customer discount on all travel packages. Additionally, we run occasional promotions throughout the year, and we’d recommend viewing our Promotional Policies page for more information.
Who will I meet at the Welcome Dinner?
You’ll meet lots of people. Firstly, the Welcome Dinner is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers, and we’ve had many friendships and even a few marriages sparked on our tours. You’ll also meet a legend of the game, or two. Some of our past special guests include Grand Slam champions Fred Stolle and Owen Davidson, as well as Hall of Famer Tracy Austin and French player Sebastian Grosjean. It’s also a great time to connect with your GSTT hosts.
When should I book my tour?
For international events we recommend booking approximately six months out and for domestic (US) tournaments we suggest three months. That being said, we always have people who book after a tournament has already begun, and we have a lovely couple who consistently books more than a year out.
